Lower US Copyright Terms to the lifespan of the original author and nothing more.

Created by B.W. on July 23, 2015

It is reasonable to lower US Copyright term to only the life of the author. The point of Copyright is to support artists while also allowing new people to build on thier work. Extending it past the author's lifetime only sustains bloated media empires with lobbyists in Washington and restrains any artistic expression. To reiterate, we must lower the US Copyright Term of a work to only as long as the author lives, no more, no less.
