Lower the voting age.

Created by J.W. on January 09, 2013

Since the voting age is 18, teenagers of lower ages has no interest of learning to vote and or learning about the government. Let me ask why should they it seems to them that the government ignores them completely and why are we to expect them to want to be interested when they turn 18 because if what their voice didn't matter then why would it then? So I petition the Obama administration to include people who are at least 16 a say in the government or to give them some voting rights, as in voting rights the rights to vote in public poles that effects their own education, was not the fact our voices weren't heard in England that we broke away from the King?
