Lower the voting age to 16 years old. Young Americans have no say on how laws are being forced on them. We saw this countless times during wars (when the draft was present). The Government forced people against their will to join the military or face prison sentences. Those citizens had the right to stop the draft by voting against it. But Americans that were 16 and 17 years old when a draft began, had absolutely no right to protect them self from these rules. They simply were forced into a war when they turned 18 and could not prevent it from occurring. That is why we the people are asking to alter the voting age.
