These are ELECTED officials. Why should their pay be so great when they can never agree on anything, have been sending our country into a downward spiral for the last 50 years, have become so rich and greedy that they have completely lost touch with the American People. This is OUR country, they work for US. Are you comfortable paying these huge salaries? Are you ok with working 50 hours a week, for less than 20 an hour and still not able to make ends meet while these "lawmakers" continue to raise their own salaries while at the same time breaking our countries bank, and expecting us to pay for it? Enough is ENOUGH!
Drop their salaries to a reasonable 75k, and add term limits. The Presidient can only win 2 terms, why should they be any different?
