Lower wasteful spending.

Created by J.M. on December 14, 2012

Federal spending for 2011 was approximately 3,603.1 billion dollars. Revenue was 2,303.5 billion. 775.6 billion of that spending was for federal pensions. 878.5 billion of that was for "defense".

For the military, in a variety of ways, 705.6 billion was spent. 127.2 billion dollars was spent on veterans. Some of whom never saw a warzone.

120.6 billion was spent on Unemployment. The government handed out 120.6 billion dollars to people with no jobs.

In comparison to the aforementioned numbers, 56.1 billion was spent on protection. Police forces and their like. 17 billion was spent on research. 5.8 billion was spent on fuel and energy.

This is wrong. If we are going into debt, we should at least do so funding something to better work towards the future. Change the spending. Please.
