Lowering federal handgun and amunition purchase, and federal concealed carry age to 18.

This petition is important to the young people of the United States of America being able to defend themselves on the streets. Every day young Americans leave their home town to start out their lives. These Americans are YOUR children. At 18 Americans are allowed to be legally liable for their lives, but we tell them they aren't mature enough to defend their lives? Every day a young adult starting out their lives in some city goes missing. Most of the time they have no form of protection other than a pocket knife or pepper spray. Could a handgun save their life? We will never know, unless we change this legislation. If an adult Is old enough to be drafted into the military and defend the country, they are old enough to defend themselves in the streets.
