Main stream media is a very powerful tool for the American people to quickly stay informed about current events. Programs that provide national news (ex. CNN, MSNBC, FOXNEWS, etc.) Should be fair, balanced, and unbiased. Exploting this powerful tool to sway decisions, emotions, and reactions of the American people is dangerous. These media outlets should be held to a higher standard then other entertainment media.
This petition is to request our law makers do just that. We want honest facts not influenced by political, financial or ratings gain. Punish these media outlets inducing public panic. Stop the propaganda.
