This is a petition to the federal government to maintain and support the federally mandated programs, the special education program under the Individuals with Disability Act and the vocational rehabilitation program under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, to lead our nation on a path of prosperity by investing in our citizens’ successes by minimizing the budget cuts against these programs. Also, these programs follow the ideas of our founding fathers by granting “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” to any citizen at need by giving resources for our citizens to be employable and to chase the American dream. This increases revenue for our economy, and our government through taxes. Without a doubt, these programs are prosperous, and we, as citizens, want to continue to support them.
