On March 1, 2013 the US Navy announced that due to sequestration actions aerial demonstration team performances including that of the Blue Angels would cease on April 1, 2013. I am proposing that the US Navy should keep the program going, even if demonstrations and tours need to be a little more limited than before. There is too much traditional and historical relevance to let this program end entirely.
