Maintain net neutrality.

Created by W.C. on June 04, 2014

Please immediately halt, void, or veto any current or future legislation that would compromise or violate net neutrality.

F.C.C. Chairman and former cable lobbyist Tom Wheeler has—by way of his and the F.C.C.'s decision to condone the creation of paid online "fast lanes" for those who can afford to pay internet service providers for special treatment— threatened the future of the internet as a medium marked by openness, freedom, and equality.

The preservation of net neutrality principles is paramount as we move toward an increasingly digital future. Bolstering the power that ISPs have over our collective online experience can only end in a less accessible, less useful, and less enjoyable internet.

Net neutrality matters. Please maintain it.
