Please maintain our already agreed position in the Paris Agreement. This issue is one with a definite time-limit. It is not domestic or social, but global in all respects. The agreement heralds a new era of commitment to climate/environmental protections that will lead to new forms of utility technologies, jobs to maintain those technologies, and markets to distribute those technologies. Solar energy solutions now stand as legitimately more cost-effective than any fossil-fuel. This fact is confirmed by several international reports as well as here at home. If we remove ourselves from the Paris Agreement, we will be doing two things: we will be providing China less incentive to stay in, and we will be acting with negligence in regards to a cost-effective, clean energy future.
