stopping the ending of saturday mail delivery. this is the best the postmaster can come up with. puting 20 thousand people out of work. and not saving what they'd like us to believe. if the mails not delivered on saturday, then that's twice as much that has to be delivered on monday. that's plenty of overtime. and it also gives the competition another chance to get their foot in the usps door. right now people and businesses use the usps because they know they pick up and deliver on saturdays, no matter the cost. once that's not the case, they'll no doubt shop around, and possible use another service. there is nothing good for the usps or the american public in the ending of saturday delivery. there's solutions to the usps dilema, stop the health care pre-funding mandate. let them compete.
