9/11 marks the dark day in American history where life as we knew it changed. Our way life was altered forever. The thousands of victims that died that day and the family they left behind should have a day of remembrance.
So in honor of the victims who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on America on 9/11. We feel that the government should make 9/11 a national holiday much like Christmas. This would mean the closing of government offices and schools and stores, in memory of the victims, and to honor the victims families that were left behind. What a lasting tribute it would make to the families of the victims, who repeatedly say, they would give anything for one more day to be with their families. We should pay tribute with a day, given to all of America.
