This is a move to make abortion equivalent to murder. Humans have a right to life. A sperm and an egg when combined are a human. Therefore a joined sperm and egg have a right to life. To draw a line anywhere else after the instant of conception is arbitrary. There is no reason to think a sperm and an egg combined are any less human than a human at 3 months old, 5 years old , 20 years old, or at 40 years old. Many people are against abortion because of the burden a child can be, however is one human's burden worth ending another human's life? Adoption is a far better option than killing a human life just for selfish benefit. How can we be proud of our nation and, have our nation simultaneously endorse the killing of innocent human life solely for selfish benefit?
