Abortion has long been touted as bad for women - as murder, as morally reprehensible, as against religion. However, science has proven time and time again that abortion is not murder, that it is not bad for women. And when you get to the religious portion of it, whatever happened to the separation of Church from State?
This petition calls for abortion to become legal in all 50 states, and requires the people who pass anti-abortion laws to back their changes with REAL scientific studies that haven't been paid for by anti-abortion lobbyists, as well as REAL negative health impacts instead of thinly-veiled religion-based reasons. It also calls for back-door anti abortion laws to be brought up clearly, so they have their fair chance to be denied or removed. No more sneaking around!
