Make Abraham Lincoln's Birthday a holiday.

Created by N.R. on February 17, 2014

We, the undersigned, request an amendment to the 1968 Uniform Monday Holiday Act to include a specific holiday commemorating the birth of the Great Emancipator, President Abraham Lincoln. We believe his tremendous contributions to Jurisprudence, Politics, and Civil Rights warrant a specific and distinct Federal holiday from Washington's Birthday (President's Day) in tribute and memory of his contributions to humanity and the United States.
