Make the act of suicide and the discussion of it a civil right.

Many people are both physically and mentally suffering in this country; Furthermore, many of those people are confined and bed ridden. A majority of these people want to be relieved of their pain and the government denies them that relief. It's time to put an end to the torture of helpless people. If someone is physically or mentally unable to function in life and they choose to not live anymore, nobody should stand in their way. Many innocent animals are euthanized involuntarily each year. We allow the killing of innocent animals yet we deny the voluntary euthanization of people who are suffering and want to exit this world by shooting down what should be a human right. Lets end this modern day torture by allowing these people to be set free and go as they choose.
