Because of the sequester, and the governments inability to come up with a plan to stop the sequester, money is coming from areas that are hurting the country rather than helping. Right now the sequester has affected things such as Tuition Assistance going away for military personnel as well as BAH, Starting March 30, money is also coming out of the federal unemployment extension program reducing EUC benefits by 10.7%. Federal employees are also going to have their pay reduced by a reported 20% I am proposing that the President and Congress should also be affected by these cuts as well. They are already millionaires and are not hurt by the economy, so cutting their pay by the same 10.7% will not hurt. It is the job of the government to do what is best for the people. This is not happening.
