The adoption process in America is flawed severely. Due to the recent Russian adoption ban, I feel this is a good time for us to speak up and make some serious changes in our adopting process in the US. So many parents find it easier and cheaper to adopt children from other countries. This is sad because we have so many children in our own country who need adopted, but potential parents are put through many legal loops and are not assured full parental rights. In our country we have flawed laws that allow biological parents the right to get custody of their child again even years after adopting out the children. This is not right! We must give reassurance to adoptive parents that there is no chance of having their child taken away from them. Adopting laws should be the same nation wide.
