Make advertising companies print a disclosure onto every ad which contains a photo that has been digitally altered.

Created by J.K. on February 26, 2013

False advertising and fake people are found in advertisements everywhere. We each are exposed to over 3,000 ads everyday. Most of those ads have people which have been digitally altered. We all know this. But this is making it look like we, the average people, are less and less beautiful. Causing eating disorders in young girls. Making women feel unwanted/unsexy. Making men feel inadequate or less manly. Of most of the women portrayed in advertising, only 5% of women in real life actually have that body. Even then, those same models have their photos digitally altered in the studio. Making the women portrayed even more unrealistic. Anti-wrinkle ads even take out the wrinkles on their models' photos. This should be disclosed when this occurs.
