Affluenza is yet another way for the rich to avoid consequences; Ethan Couch who committed at least four different crimes, most notably murder, gets to avoid any jail time because of this 'defense'. It is an insult to the poor and middle class that this pop psychology was used to help Ethan Couch yet again avoid the punishment he so desperately needs.
