The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil is an organization that creates sustainable ways to produce palm oil, without destroying what is left of the natural environment. The Sumatran habitat is where palm oil is produced. Due to the destruction of the environment to grow palm oil and the demand, all of Sumatra's native animals are directly affected, especially the endangered. For example, the Sumatran Orangutan is a critically endangered species native to Sumatra, once their habitat is destroyed, it cannot be replaced and extinction will be in their future if nothing is done about their environment. Once that happens, a domino effect will take place with not just the evnironment but the other animals as well.
