It is important that perpetrators of childbased homicide and murder be held responsible for taking a child life. To many times these perps get off with a slap on the wrist 1 to 15 2nd degree felony. This is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. This will continue to happen until we hold these animals responsible for their actions and make the face the consequences for making a conscious decision to kill. I lost my grandson on May 1st when his step dad murdered him and tried to play it offal an accidental drowning. He plea deal for a 1 to 15 from a 20 to life. This is not only a slap in the face to my family but it makes a mockery of our justice system and shows us just how much our government values the life of our children.
