For as long as America has existed, white men have enjoyed having every possible right imaginable. There is nothing in US Law that prevents cissexual white men from doing anything that people of other orientations, races, genders/sexes are also prohibited from doing.
Compare this to the "other side." Citizens of color are routinely disenfranchised when it comes to almost all walks of life: voting, health, education, you name it. Ditto for women's rights; cis white men in government seem to think they know what's best for their health (and pay, and other things). Gay people still lack basic rights. Trans* people are treated as subhuman beings.
And yet cis white men want more. We think we don't have enough rights. We can't use the n-word, what an atrocity!
We need to apologize. Publicly.
