make ALL colleges regional credidation. WE pay for it, we should be able to transfer credits anywhere!!

I went to college thinking I was making a great choice, I found out diffrent. I now owe over $10,000 for a college that I can not transfer credits from because they are not a regional credidation. I did not even know what the heck that was until I started to attend another college and found out I could'nt transfer my credits. It's not fair to people who want their education and then things like this happen. The college I first attended never even told me anything about it. Now I am struggling to stay in college knowing that I owe that amount for no reason. How am I suppose to get ahead and set the right example for my children to further their education when such a bad experience came out of it? What should I do? Can anything be done?
