Make all of Congress to serve no more than twelve years total for a political career.

As the political class has become corrupt to lobby groups we need to limit how long any one person can sit in any seat. Since the senate is a 6 year term I propose no more than two terms in the Senate and to match that three terms in the House of Representatives. There should be no reason a person should sit in one seat for seven decades or more. We need an end to the name recognition of a person that sits that long and the big money that puts them in power and expects regulations to benefit them in return for that investment. This is the only way to begin a true reform of Congress and to weaken the influence of the lobby groups. If we can do this it would strengthen the support of congress by the citizens of America dramatically. The toxic atmosphere would also be much more workable.
