I'm Active Duty Military stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. I'm also young and have been trying to register my vehicle for a few weeks now, and it always seems like every time I go to different offices (there are 3 in Killeen I believe, and 1 outside post), in the afternoon hours the employees always have some kind of excuse to not do their job, such as the "system being down" or going on "break" for an hour or more. And the strict policy of closing at 1645 (when they are supposed to stay open until 1700) and kicking everyone out who's been there since 1300 seems unfair. I personally feel it's the civilian employees lack of effort, or just straight laziness that leads to this. Maybe if they had to work 12 hours they would shape up and their duties would be fulfilled more professionally.
