Make all elected officials survive by living in public housing, use food stamps, and make minimum wage.

Polticians today care more about money than they do about doing their jobs. I petition the whitehouse to create and pass a bill that forces all elected officials to make minimum wage, live in public housing or shelters, and basically survive just as the poorest of the country do - that is by getting food stamp assistance, and get only health insurance provided by the welfare. If they do not qualify for insurance from the state even though there is major medical problems tough luck. I strongly believe that if politicians had to walk a day in the shoes of the less fortunate they would quickly rewrite laws to make the poorest of our people safer. This would quickly put an end to those career politicians who seek only to make more closed door deals with corporations for personal gains
