The U.S. Military is the the main institution that defends our country in times of need. It is imperative that we give these Veterans the well deserved bonuses when they enlist, re-enlist or commission TAX FREE.
They should be entitled to the full bonus and not have almost half of it taken out to go back to Uncle Sam. If they put their lives on the line, then they should get the full amount they deserve to support them and their loved ones.
The tax from these bonuses are just a drop in the bucket to what the government takes in.
