As the title states, this petition is to pass a Federal law, or constitutional amendment to make all Federal politicians ineligible for re-election when the deficit is more than 3% of GDP, as Warren Buffet suggested.
This will ensure that "party politics" and/or special interest group agendas do not continue to interfere with what is right for the American people and economy.
Everyone in politics attempts (with a surprising degree of success) to "pass the buck" of blame to other politicians when it is time for re-election.
With this law, all politicians share in the same fate, and thus are motivated to actually do what's best for the country, and her people.
