In the government, one large problem is that the officials do not have a great understanding of their job and the mistakes of the past. If all of the officials were to gain a degree, that is, go to school, for their career, they would be professional, just like the rest of the people working in other jobs. It should be manditory for any government worker to have a strong and thorough knowledge of the history of our country and government. People need to learn from the mistakes of the past.
