Driver's education should be offered to all freshmen who are at least the state's minimum age to get a permit and have a 3.75 grade point average or greater. This grade would be acquired from the junior high level. Paying at least an extra $500 is not acceptable. Some families need their kids to drive because of their events being at a bad time, the child having to wait for a ride for an extended period of time, and because the family might have someone with a disability who can not drive anymore and needs extra help. Driver's Education should be an offered course to freshmen.
