make all legislators, local, state, and federal pass a drug test.

Created by D.F. on January 31, 2013

Many Americans must pass drug tests in order to get or keep a job. A positive test is often grounds for dismissal. In some cases this positive test can follow you forever, preventing you from obtaining work elsewhere in your field.
If it's important enough that drug laws prevent one from stocking shelves at Target or ever driving a garbage truck again, then certainly the people who have made these laws should be required to abide by them.
What lawmaker, considering his power over the rest of us, could object to a law that demands the same strict observance of our drug laws that they demand of the lowliest of our citizens?
A positive test should mean immediate dismissal from office and prevent one from ever holding office again.
