Make all pharmaceutical companies criminally, and financially, responsible for any shootings, shooting deaths, or murders committed by individuals using their products. If law abiding firearms manufacturers, and law abiding citizens who use their products, are being punished for crimes committed by individuals with mental health problems (most who are on some sort of mood altering drug), then the pharmaceutical companies should have equal responsibility and liability for their products that are determined to be a factor in any violent crime that is committed.
Background checks, waiting periods, additional screenings, and registration by individuals using these types of drugs should also be implemented for the safety of others. These companies, and drugs, should be heavily regulated.
