Good government will come when the money is out of politics. Congress spends half their time raising funds for re-election from donors that expect a return on their investment. Public funding would end this. Also, as a condition of maintaining their license to use our airwaves, broadcasters must donate a percentage of the air time before an election to candidates who meet a certain level of community support. This will also help curtail the"buying of an election". $7 annually per person times 300 million Americans nets $2.1 billion per year to elect leaders that will work for the American people and not special interests.
