Make all political offices in DC voluntary non paid duty. It should be a civic duty job to protect integrety.

Anyone holding a political office in Washington DC should do so voluntarily without pay. This will weed out the people who are in it just for themselves and newly elected people will be people who really want to make a difference in the world.
