What I hope to accomplish with my petition is a stronger respect for women and children. Pornography is all-too abundant and too easily found, especially by unsuspecting victims such as children who sometimes accidentally stumble upon it. Pornography of any kind is disgusting, demeaning, unnecessary, and should be illegal. The age limit for viewership and the punishment for child pornography is just not enough. There can also be psychological abuse from happening upon pornography as an adolescent. This is not about feminism or religion; this is about the safety and protection of the youth of America and the prevention of the horrible domino-effect fallout of the effects of pornography.
