Imagine this, you are about to buy a gift for your friends birthday. You find the best gift for your friend that says on the tag that it is 4 bucks, woo-hoo. You go back home grab 4 dollars. Then you drive to the store, grab your gift and you go up to the register and the clerk says 4.25, please. You totally forgot about the sales tax! Now you can't buy the gift for your friend :( .
If the U.S. includes sales tax on price tags we could all be prepared for what we are about to buy. Let's get rid of the inconvenience and include sales tax on price tags.
