Make "America The Beautiful" the National Anthem of the United States of America.

Created by I.J. on February 04, 2013

“It's startling to realize that other countries have nationalistic slogans of their own, none of which are 'We're number two!”
-David Sedaris, "Me Talk Pretty One Day"

Australia, Burundi, Cape Verde, Comoros, The Cook Islands, Curacao, Dominica, Honduras, New Zealand, Niue, The Philippines, Saint Kitts And Nevis, Sao Tome and Principe, Singapore, Slovenia, The Solomon Islands, Syria, Tajikistan, Tuvalu, Uzbekistan, and Venezuela.
What, one might ask, do all of these nations have in common?
The answer?
They are all countries whose flags match the description in "The Star Spangled Banner" of "broad stripes and bright stars."
Shouldn't the greatest country on Earth have a national anthem that at least mentions the name of our country?
I hereby nominate "America the Beautiful".
