Americans above all else value liberty, and understand that it is necessary to give up some freedom in the form of governance to protect and secure that liberty. This ideal shaped the formation of the United States, where a contract was made with the people for their fealty and resources in exchange for protection. This lead to good things like equal rights and infrastructure, which produced economic prosperity. Unfortunately progressively increasing taxes caused by uncontrolled, unwise deficit spending are now returning the people to indentured servitude. Save us from financial slavery by our government. Take the first step to eliminating our debt by making your first priority a balanced budget road map in conjunction with congress to secure our level of freedom for future generations.
