make the American Psychiatric Association include Sensory Processing Disorder in the Doctors and Insurance Manual.

Created by N.G. on January 17, 2012

Occupational Therapy and physical therapy are vital to the development of children with Sensory Processing Disorder. Because the APA has not recognized this disorder insurance providers refuse to pay for the services. It is believed 1 in 6 children have this disorder and they go misdiagnosed. This disorder profoundly effects their education, social skills and their future happiness.
