Due to the extreme ease of access and high potential for abuse, amphetamine's (Adderall) and methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta, ect.) should be made Schedule I drugs. 56% of teenagers in drug rehabilitation centers have admitted to abusing these "ADHD" medications at one time or another. They are all stimulants that pose a health risk to those they are prescribed to. Several young people have died due to heart attacks and strokes that are directly related to these medications. It can also be an aid to eating disorders because of the stimulant effects. They are like soft-core methamphetamine, so they should be treated as though they are methamphetamine.
