Focus of DNA testing is to acknowledge circumstance that America imported blacks and others to this country from all over the world during its early growth. Many of these people helped make America the great nation that it is today but many contributors only have broad notions of their nations of origin and the journey their descendants traveled in making them who they are today. Ancestry/origin DNA testing would have the impact of enabling citizens to more accurately identify countries of origin as a point of reference and can determine the percentage of DNA that is influenced by other races. In addition to providing people with the knowledge of from where they originated, the testing has the potential of creating jobs in labs throughout the country and raising revenue by charging a fee.
