I propose that ANY elected or hired official be held accountable for using their position inappropriately by making such acts treason. When a police officer to a congressman abuse these positions it is not a crime against one person, but a crime against our society, our government, against our very constitution. When a Governor can sell a seat of congress, or a police officer beats a person to death, they are abusing all of us, and should carry the same penalty of treason.
