State and local governments in the United States are pushing to make basic civil rights a thing of the past in regards to Trangender Americans. Not only are these people subject to criticism and discrimination from the masses but to make it legal and accessible by government right would be taking a step into America's darker days where slavery was legal because "they are not really people anyway." We as Americans must embrace the truest thing to any American and that is FREEDOM. The upcoming bills that are likely to pass relinquish any freedom that these people once had. Once we take away one groups rights, what is to stop us from going further and creating a Holocaust-esqe situation? Nothing. The Federal Government needs to put a stop to this. Now.
