Make applications for government assistance to take garnishments into consideration.

Created by E.R. on January 31, 2014

If you owe a debt that has gone into collections, the debt collector may choose garnishment of your wages in order to obtain what they are owed.

Most people struggling with this type of debt don’t have enough to pay daily expenses as it is. It's not that they don't want to pay their bills; it's that most of them have priorities like rent, food, and transportation to get to and from work to pay before being able to even consider paying off said bills.

Food stamps, health insuance assistance, and student aid should be taking garnishments for medical bills into consideration during the application process.

Help these people try to get their life back on track.
