When our soldiers returned home from Vietnam they were spit on and disrespected by the American people. These veterans sacrificed for their country and they deserved better than that. We as Americans owe them the honor that they earned and deserve. Please help us to apologize and correct this great wrong that all of those misguided citizens caused. Since April 30 1975 was the official end date of the Vietnam war, I propose that April 30th be declared "National Vietnam Veteran Hero Day".
