Art Institute is a for-profit school, stealing our Federal Aid!
As a single mother of 2 I was depending on my Pell Grant to help buy my photography equipment. Instead I get my "financial adviser" telling me that I will never receive it because the SCHOOL keeps it and uses it towards what THEY want! I never agree'd to that!
She told me to "hit up the holiday sales" or take out a personal loan. I thought that's what my Pell Grant was for?
They wouldn't even put me through to the Financial Director because they weren't allowed to!
This school needs to give us what is ours and MORE for being deceptive liars and putting us through emotional distress! Fight for us students and give us what we deserve!
