Currently the green card application process is same for STEM graduates and others. We petition, obama govt. to help STEM graduates attain permanent residency in a simpler and faster way.
STEM graduates should get a privileged category, and they should be able to apply for the green card themselves rather than employers having to apply for them.
The current process for certain countries, like india and china takes up to 10 years after application, this period should be shortened significantly for the STEM graduates.
This will help the highly qualified labor to stay in america and improve job creation in long term
