I am submitting this petition in regards to a recent story on Dec. 27, 2013. A little girl was backed over and killed by an ice cream truck in San Antonio, TX. It's a common cause of injury and death to children often in their own driveways and mishaps in daily routines by unseen blind spots. With all the mandatory safety requirements which save the lives of commuters daily, this requirement could save thousands of lives. There could also be millions saved in medical, insurance, legal and costs.
